Grumman/Butkus Associates (G/BA) is known for its long-lasting relationships built on trust, quality, and continuity. Our employees provide the foundation for these relationships and we pride ourselves on fostering an environment that is both pleasant and challenging for them: an exciting and important part of their life, not “just a job.”
At G/BA, our employees are empowered with the ability to make independent decisions relative to their job function whenever possible and at each step in an employee's job development more decision-making ability is transferred to them. G/BA has an extensive continuing education program (which includes a tuition reimbursement program for those who wish to pursue additional formal educational training) and our employees are strongly encouraged to attend seminars and technical training sessions, join technical and professional societies, and to read relevant books and periodicals.
Engineering personnel subscribe to NSPE Code of Ethics for Engineers. Our Policy and Procedures Manual gives guidance and instruction on such topics as firm goals, philosophy, standards of practice and conflicts of interest.
G/BA has an aggressive continuing education program for employees.
A training goal is established and discussed at each employee's annual review. Employees are encouraged to attend seminars and technical training sessions; join technical and professional societies and attend meetings; and read books and periodicals. At each employee's annual review, personal training goals are established, educational opportunities are identified and past performance is discussed. Points are assigned for each of these educational and training activities and they are tabulated firm-wide.
Our firm holds semi-annual office meetings at which communication is facilitated between all employees and management. Financial information is shared and discussed. The future prospects of the firm are presented and discussed. Training goals are displayed. Employee anniversaries and special achievements are recognized. An open forum follows each meeting.
Grumman/Butkus Associates (G/BA) is always interested in talented and qualified people who are motivated and enjoy working in a diverse and innovative environment. If you are interested in joining our team, please send us your resume through the link below.
