A detailed and integrated infrastructure assessment by the project team (Grumman/Butkus Associates, Dickerson Engineering, Inc., Eckenhoff Saunders Architects and Integrated Facility Solutions, Inc.) in parallel with completion of a new master plan for the hospital. Budget pricing was obtained for the recommended projects.

• The Master Plan and Infrastructure Assessment resulted in the following projects:
• A 46,000 square foot ambulatory care center
• A central plant, incorporating new boilers, chillers and generators
• A parking structure adjoining the new central plant
• Upgrade of the medical gas systems, including central O₂ tanks and equipment

• Renovations of various areas inside the existing hospital, including the clinical laboratories, data center and psychiatric unit
• Multiphased upgrade of site utilities
• Multiphased regrading and landscaping of the site, surface parking lots, reworked roadways and site drainage
• Consolidation and replacement and/or upgrades of most major air handling systems
